I successfully found Bellhic on the other side of the spaceship. They boarded the spaceship to look for me and the others. "Oh hey! There you are!" Bellhic was happy to see me. "Where are the others?"
"Peter is right behind-." I turn around but find no sign of Peter anywhere. That instantly shows me a bad sign. "Oh no. . ."
"What about Hank?" Bellhic sounded a bit worried when asking the question.
"He's back with the Grandmaster, trying to distract him." Bellhic nodded. "It's a good thing you guys came actually. There are other creatures trapped inside here. I need you guys to help get them out." Bellhic raised his paw over his forehead and saluted me.
"Roger that, we'll take care of it."
"Thank you guys for coming, I'm going to go back and take care of Grandmaster now." I turn and begin to head back where I came. Though, Bellhic stops me before I disappear around the corner. I turned back to him in slight confusion.
"Good luck Floyd, this may be your chance." I nod to him, before beginning to sprint down the hallway. I used every inch of energy I could use to speed up my sprinting. I finally found myself in front of the doorway within seconds. I walk ahead and let the door open by itself. Though, my expression turns to immediate horror at the sight.
Blood was visible on the walls and floor, with Hank's body unconscious, and Peter's body against the wall with terrible injuries. At the sight of Peter, I was frozen in complete terror. I snapped out of it once I fully recognized the sight to be reality. I rush over to Peter's side, my heart pounding harshly in worry and panic. "Peter!" I scream, trying to shake him awake.
I put the sword down beside me as I get down onto my knees in front of Peter. I use my force to pull the blade out of his chest. Then, I lift his head up to face me. Though, his eyes were closed shut with no sign of life. I take his hand and begin to feel for a pulse. Luckily I felt, but the heart rate was weak and fast. "Peter! Wake up man. . ."
Hank lifts himself up from the sound of my voice. I didn't look over to him, but I heard him groaning in pain. When nothing worked to get Peter up. I faced Hank who was slowly walking over to me with a limp. Holding his left arm as his expression showed only hurt. "He's not waking up. . ." I say with defeat and a saddened tone.
Hank was about to say something as his mouth opened a little. Though, that's when I heard shuffling behind me. Both of us turned, and that's when we saw Grandmaster standing at the doorway. His right arm was decapitated, but didn't appear to be bleeding a single drop. It didn't seem normal for a living creature.
"Floyd Lorence has returned, how comical."
I turn to Hank shortly afterwards, realizing now what I needed to do. "Hank, take Peter with you to the rest of the Azorians." He nodded in agreement, grabbing Peter's entire body and putting him over his uninjured shoulder.
I grab the sword and grip it tightly, standing up on both feet. "You did this to him?" I slowly turn to face Grandmaster, my expression shifting to calmness.
"Your friend decided to sacrifice himself to save your alien friend." He chuckles a little as he watches Hank leave the room, still struggling to walk. "I respect him for doing that."
"Well, I don't respect you for not dying yet." A slight smirk appears on my face. "But I suppose maybe that's my job."
"Try as you will, but you have gained not enough power to face me head on." He laughs as he looks down at my sword. Even though it's powerful, I don't have enough experience to keep up with the Grandmaster. At least until I realize the staff that Peter used. Both ends of the staff were lying on the floor with no signs of energy. But I knew that they still had some small bits of energy leftover.
I took the sharp end of the staff, then the handle. I put the sword up against the two ends and began to absorb whatever energy I could from within. I felt myself grow even stronger as I did so. The energy goes throughout my body, until meeting up into my eyes. For the first time, my eyes began lighting up with light blue energy.
I saw the Grandmaster growl in annoyance and instantly use his left fist to punch toward me. I dodge within a flash, and use my free hand to punch him in return. Making contact with his chin and pushing it upwards. This causes the Grandmaster to fall backwards and groan in intense pain.
Though, this didn't appear to do much. He regained his balance and growled with anger. "I felt that and it hurts!" His fist begins to light up with purple energy, before engulfing his entire body. Before I knew it, his eyes lit up with purple. As I was about to make a move, he leapt onto me with so much speed and force. We crash into the outer wall and fly into space.
He began using his left fist to punch me multiple times. The power of it caused multiple vibrations and shockwaves around us. Then, right before I could sneak my own attack in. He begins to create immense energy into his hand before shooting it out towards me. It hits me so fast, I was pushed along with it. Then, within the energy the Grandmaster leaps into me again but with even more force and speed.
He pushes me far away from the battle of Azorians and Battleships. Smashing into multiple meteors and shattering them entirely. I try using my own energy fists to hit him back. Though, they also didn't do anything to him. Within seconds, we smash into the ground of an uncharted planet. I kick the Grandmaster off of me, resulting in him being flung into the air.
Luckily for him, he was able to adjust himself enough to allow him to land on his feet. I get up onto my feet completely uninjured, still carrying the sword in my hand. That's when I found myself within a small crater from our impact. I climb out of the crater and stand several feet away from the Grandmaster. Still glowing with bright purple energy.
"How are you going to defeat me when you only have one fist?" I chuckle to myself as I examine him.
"Pfft, I only need one fist to defeat my opponents." He presses his feet into the soil below him and pushes himself with intense speed. This causes the ground to shake and a large shockwave. I lift my sword up and swing toward him once he got close enough. Sadly, he reacted just in time to make the sword hit his armor.
"Drats!" I say under my breath. I heard him land behind me, but I was once again caught off guard by large amounts of force pulling me back. I turn and notice a large black sphere with purple energy around it coming towards me. It reminded me of cartoons that depicted black holes. I turn my entire body around and face the black sphere.
I swing into the sphere and let my sword wrap it with light blue energy. Before using leg to kick it straight back towards him. This time, with even more force and speed. He was unfortunately able to react just in time to stop it with a purple field. Breaking the sphere apart and destroying it entirely.
I leaped up in the air while he was distracted and began to shoot myself down toward him. I keep my sword tightly in my hand as I get close to pushing it into his chest. Though, he reacted once again just in time to dodge and karate chop me into the ground. So much force that it causes another crater below my impacted body.
He then goes in for another attack but with his other fist. I dodge out of the way by flashing in an instant and appearing in front of him. My sword high above my head and began to slash at him. He instantly begins to block each attack by using his armor as defenses. I attempt to hit several vulnerable spots on him, but he continues to block just in time.
He takes steps back with each swing. Though, he eventually reaches up with one of his hands and forms energy. I look up and see a nearby moon being captured with his purple magic. I attempt to slice his arm with the sword, but he dodges out of the way. Before I knew it, the moon began flying inward to the planet.
It begins to tear apart and rain down pieces of debris from it. I attempt to make another swing at the Grandmaster. However, a portal forms behind him and disappears along with it. I growl as I reach the sword down toward the disappearing energy. I let the sword's magical energy consume it.
As soon as the moon is about to smash into the planet. I use the energy I could harness, and create a portal of my own. Allowing myself to teleport in the exact same place as the Grandmaster's went to. I found myself standing on another nearby moon. He instantly notices me going through the portal from behind him. He turns around to face me, before reaching down with his hand and grabbing the surface.
The magic grasps a large chunk of the moon's surface, including below me. Then he huffs as he yanks the entire surface of the moon upwards. Causing the entire surface to lift upwards from the moon and be lifted into space. Including the surface I was standing on. Before I could recognize what was going on. A large beam of magic blasts into the layer and shatters it entirely into debris.
This disorients me for a second, but I recognize immediately what he was trying to do. I grip the sword even tighter as I use every speed and force to leap over to each debris. As I got the rhythm down, I was able to hop to each debris easily and without problem. Getting to such intense speeds that not even the Grandmaster knew what was happening.
His eyes widened in shock as I used this time to confuse him on where I was. The intense speed I was going at now, made him incapable of seeing me. Once I got to a good speed, I hopped down to where he was and took the chance to strike. Though, I didn't decide to slice his head off.
I harnessed as much energy that I built up to blast out a large explosion toward him. It was so large that it was the size of a star's explosion. Before I knew it, Grandmaster had vanished along with the blast. I stood there for a second and waited patiently. Hoping that at any second he would come out of nowhere. Though, as I stood there I came to the realization that he had been defeated.
A large smile forms on my face as I loosen my grip on the handle. I then look out into space and locate the direction of the rest of the Robanian and Azorian spaceships. I push myself off the moon and blast into the direction. As I got closer, I noticed that the Azorians had successfully destroyed all of the Robanian battleships. Not only that, but appear to still be escorting captures off of the same Robanian battleship I was on several minutes ago.
Once I found an open spot to land on. I used all of my power to land there as quickly as I could. I land on both of my feet without feeling any injuries from the sudden impact. The magical energy around me protected my fall. I look around to see Azorian escorting the final passengers off of the battleship. That's when I saw Hank along with Bellhic.
They notice me and wave me over. "Hey Floyd!" Hank yells at me. "What happened to Grandmaster?" I start walking over to him, a satisfied smile on my face.
"I defeated him, we won."
Before I could get halfway over to them, Hank yells in fear. "Floyd! Look out!" Before I could react in time, I felt Grandmaster's hand grab me and pull me in. He wrapped his left arm around my neck and began attempting to choke me to death. I only grip the sword tighter in my hand as I try to escape. Though, with no use as Grandmaster uses his own magic to keep me in his grasp.
"Floyd!" I hear Hank's voice call out to me. About to rush over to me, but Bellhic pulls him to his side. He says something to Hank, but I wasn't able to hear it. Grandmaster grinned widely and watched as Azorian guards surrounded us. I couldn't do anything, I was stuck in his grasp. I watched Hank remain beside Bellhic in terror.
That's when I noticed the axe in Hank's hand. That gave me an idea on how to defeat Grandmaster. "Hank, the axe!" I reach my hand out from underneath Grandmaster's arm. Hank looked at his axe, then my hand. He noticed what I was referring to, and threw it toward me. Grandmaster incapable of swinging the axe away due to his decapitated arm.
I caught the axe and swung my sword upwards to touch it. I begin to absorb the energy of the axe into the sword. I felt the energy surge throughout my body and into my eyes. Lighting them up once more with light blue energy. Grandmaster growled in anger and released me from his grasp. Only to instantly, with intense speed, punch me straight into the floor.
This time, I felt the power of his fist. I can tell he was really going all in now. Shortly afterwards, he shoots several more black spheres toward the Azorians. Luckily, Bellhic grabbed Hank and started to fly away from them. Despite the spheres beginning to pull them all inwards. Grandmaster begins to laugh hysterically at the scene.
I growl in rage as I tighten the sword extremely tightly. Then, I push myself off the ground and into the air behind Grandmaster. I begin to yell as I swing my sword toward Hank's neck. Though, instead of the armor stopping it. The sword slices straight through the armor and into Grandmaster's skin. With so much speed, I chop his head off and land onto my feet. The energy flowing throughout my body and into my eyes brightly.
The Grandmaster stopped and stood still with widened eyes. He didn't move a single inch as he started to struggle bringing out words. When he did bring out his final words, they confused me. "The creator shall return, for as I have been. . ." His body slowly begins to fall over, his head sliding off the body as well. He was able to get out his final word before his body fell down. "defeated. . ."
As soon as his body fell over. His head drops down and rolls toward me. It taps my foot before stopping entirely, his face looking upwards to me. His expression remained the same, shocked from what just happened to him. I begin to pant slowly and softly as I stare down at his head.
The Azorian readjust themselves after the scene. Bellhic lets go of Hank, which brings their attention to me and the dead Grandmaster. Both of them had surprised expressions at the sight. Neither could utter the words about the situation they were looking at. After I relax myself, I start walking over to Hank and Bellhic.
"Jesus Floyd, that's insane." We just look at each other, before starting to board the Azorian spaceship. Hank and Bellhic follow me and we begin to leave the scene. As we do so, I watch out one of the windows to see the last of the battleships blowing up. Successfully concluding the first battle against Robanians. Not only that, but Grandmaster was now finally dead. A victory for the Azorians.
